Kadaba: Two-wheeler rider, car driver allege assault - Cross-complaints filed

Kadaba, May 5: A complaint is filed against the inmates of a car by a two wheeler rider of assaulting him for questioning the damage that was caused to his vehicle by the driver of the car. Similarly, another complaint is filed in the town police station by the driver of the car of an alleged assault by five people for questioning the blocking of his car on the road by two wheeler.

According to the details available, on the morning of May 4, complainant Mohammed Sharif (23), resident of Kaukradi village was going on his two wheeler towards Nelyadi. As he reached Puthye near Kaukradi village an Ertiga car was coming from Kattemajalu side. The complainant stopped his two wheeler to give way to the car. Even then the car driver brushed the back side of his two wheeler.

When the complainant, the rider of two wheeler, questioned the inmates of the car about the damage caused to his vehicle, it is alleged that the accused Kishore abused him in filthy language and also assaulted the complainant on his left neck with a stone. It is also alleged that other people also joined the accused and used filthy language against the complainant and also assaulted him with their fists. They also threatened the complainant with dire consequences.

According to the details available, complainant Nagesh (31), resident of Bagejalu Mane, Kaukradi village, was driving his Ertiga car on the morning of May 4 with his wife Vishalakshi seated in the vehicle with him. As he reached Puthye of Kaukradi village accused Sharif and others were talking to each other on the road with the two wheeler of Sharif blocking the road.

When the complainant honked indicating the accused to give way, he did not budge. The complainant drove his car and heard a sound on the back side of the car. As he parked the car and went so check the cause of the sound and questioned accused Sharif and others, it is alleged that Sharif pulled his collar and abused him with filthy language. In addition he and others with him pushed Vishalakshi, wife of the complainant, when she tried to intervene. The accused and others assaulted the complainant with fists and legs and also threatened him with life.

Both complaints are filed at Kadaba police station.
