Mangaluru: Hit by auto rickshaw, man crossing road killed

Mangaluru, May 5: A pedestrian, who was crossing the road was killed after an auto rickshaw knocked him down at Mudipu junction. The accident happened on Monday May 3.

After the day's work, Chandrashekhar was crossing the road at Mudipu junction at 7 pm on Monday when an auto rickshaw that was moving towards Balepuni from the direction of Mudipu hit him. Chandrashekhar suffered critical injuries to his right forearm, left side of the forehead, left elbow joint, both the knees, right foot and backside of his head.

He was admitted into a private hospital for treatment but before he could be treated, he breathed his last.
