Goa: Opposition demands postponement of 10 to 12 exams or hold online

Panaji, Apr 18: As Covid- 19 cases are rising rapidly opposition parties in Goa have demanded that Class 10 and 12 exams of the state board scheduled for April 24 be postponed or be held online.

Various leaders like senior Congress leader Digambar Kamat, Goa Forward Party chief Vijai Sardesai and Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte have demanded government postpone these exams, being conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, for the safety of students.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday has said rescheduling the board examinations is not possible and all precautions would be in place.
