Kundapur: MS Manja Charitable Trust holds Kalpavrukasha programme

Kundapur, Apr 17: Maranakatte Subramanya Manja Charitable Trust in commemoration of Maranakatte Late Subramanya Manja, organised Kalpavrukasha programme on Friday April 16 on the premises of 'Anugraha'.

'Neravu' programme organised in memory of Late Subramanya was inaugurated by Matrushri Vishalakshiamma.

Speaking during the occasion, MLA B M Sukumar Shetty said, "Krishnamurthy Manja has immensely contributed to the field of education, religious, education and social service. The service taken up the charitable trust is commendable."

Yaksha Paatri Shridhar Mardi blessed the occasion.

M S Manja Charitable Trust M Krishnamurthy presided on the occasion. Basrur Mahalingeshwara Temple administrator B Appanna Hegde, Marakatte Temple administrator Sadhashiva Shetty, former administrator Chitooru Manjaiah Shetty, Narayana Manja, Sridhar Manja were present.

During this occasion, Seva Ratna Award was conferred on Varasiddi Vinayaka Pre-University College president Chandrashekar Shetty, Kalaratna Award on Yakshagana artist Jamadagni Sheena, Amulya Ratna Award on Pakashastri Praveen Manjunath Hebbar Nirkodlu Kurkunje.

Shridhar Manja welcomed the gathering. Vishwesha A Manja rendered the vote of thanks. Journalist Prabhakara Acharaya compered the programme.

Teacher Balakrishna Shetty read received names beneficiaries under 'Neravu' programme.

Chitra Nruthya Team Chitoor performed Bharathanatyam, Chandra Villasa Yakshagana under the direction Jansale Raghavendra Acharaya was held.
