Bengaluru, Apr 15: The lady who has complained against Ramesh Jarkiholi, was rumoured to have changed her statement to the special investigation team. However, the lady has clarified that she is firm on her rape complaint under section 164 filed in the court against former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi.

She said that she will stand by the truth and will not change her stance even if her parents bring pressure on her.

Ramesh Jarkiholi, after his COVID infection, is in quarantine now. Two days back, rumours had sprung, claiming that the lady had changed her statement of rape against Jarkiholi all of a sudden. The lady said in a video and press release released on Tuesday, that she stands by what she had originally said.

She said that conspirators are behind the false information being spread in the media in her name. She reiterated that in spite of what her parents say, she will stand by the truth. It is said that with her stand, Ramesh Jarkiholi now faces the chances of getting arrested by the special investigation team, which has been expected for the last many days.
