Beltangady, Apr 15: Family members of KSRTC employees, in support of the striking employees of the corporation, had held a protest here on April 12. On this occasion, it is said that two women obstructed a KSRTC bus conductor from discharging his duties. Umesh Kamalapur, KSRTC bus conductor, has complained about two unidentified women obstructing him from discharging his duties on April 12.

He has said in the complaint that he had gone to Mangaluru on duty in the afternoon. "When I was returning to Dharmasthala in the afternoon, two unknown women who got into the bus at Beltangady, refused to buy tickets. They also forcibly stopped me from issuing tickets to other passengers and obstructed me. When I went to the traffic controller Beltangady to complain and returned, I found that both of them had got down and went away from the bus," he stated.

A compliant has been registered in Beltangady police station. The police are investigating.
