Udupi: DC Jagadeesh imposes Sec 144 amid indefinite protests by KSRTC employees

Udupi, Apr 9: The KSRTC Employees Union has resorted to holding indefinite protests for the fulfilment of their demands.

The protesting employees are likely to damage public property and vehicles in Kundapur and Udupi. In these circumstances, deputy commissioner G Jagadeesh has imposed Section 144 as a precaution at KSRTC unit, Puttur, city bus stand Udupi, Kundapur KSRTC unit Vaderahobali and Kundapur bus stand in order to maintain law and order and also to ensure public safety.

The orders will be in force up to a radius of 200 meters from those places from April 9 till the protests are withdrawn.
