Mangaluru, Apr 9: Karnataka Bank promoted nine of its assistant general managers namely, Nagaraja Upadhyaya B, Sharath Chandra Holla P, Jagadeesh K S, Nagaraja Aithal, Kannan K, Gopalakrishna Samaga B, Sumana Ghate, Vijayakumar P H and Jagadeesha K R as deputy general managers.
Nagaraja Upadhyaya B, is a postgraduate in Commerce with a Diploma in Computer Application and is a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
He started his career in the bank in 1996 and has over two and half decades of banking experience. He was promoted to assistant general manager cadre during November 2017 and presently, he is heading Tumakaru region of the bank.
On promotion as deputy general manager, he will act as national head – large and mid-corporate advances at Credit Marketing Department, Head Office.
Sharath Chandra Holla, has done his Masters in Computer Applications and is also a certified Information System banker, a certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and also a PGD holder in Computer Applications.
He started his career in the bank in 1997 and has over two decades of banking experience. He was promoted to assistant general manager cadre during March 2017 and presently, working at HO – Transformation Cell.
On promotion as deputy general manager, he will be head of Transformation Cell at the Head Office, Mangaluru.
Jagadeesh K S, is a postgraduate in Agricultural Science and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
He started his career in the Bank in 1990 as an Agricultural Field Officer and has more than three decades of banking service. He was promoted to Assistant General Manager cadre during March 2017 and presently heading Hyderabad Region.
On promotion as deputy general manager, he will be the head of Delhi region of the bank.
Nagaraja Aithal, is a graduate in Agricultural Science, a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and is also a certified credit professional.
He started his career in the bank in 1989 and has more than three decades of banking service. He was promoted to assistant general manager cadre during March 2013 and presently, heading the Hubballi region.
On promotion as deputy general manager, he will be the head of Bengaluru region of the bank.
Kannan K, is a graduate in Science, a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers [CAIIB], certified Information Security Manager, certified Information System Auditor, certified Information System Banker and also a holder of Honors diploma in System Management.
He started his career in the bank in 1995 and has two and half decades of banking experience. He was promoted to assistant general manager cadre during October 2017 and presently, he is in charge of Data Centre-Bengaluru.
On promotion as deputy general manager, he will be the head of Data Centre of the bank at Bengaluru.
Gopalakrishna Samaga B, is a postgraduate in Commerce, a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and also a PGD holder in Personnel Management & IR.
He started his career in the bank in 1994 and has over two and half decades of banking experience. He was promoted to assistant general manager cadre during March 2017 and presently heading the Udupi region.
On promotion as deputy general manager, he will act as national head of MSME and New Product at Credit Marketing Department, head office.
Sumana Ghate, has done her MBA in Banking & Finance and is a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
She started her career in the bank in 1987 and has more than three decades of banking experience. She was elevated to the cadre of assistant general manager during March 2014 and presently serves at Credit Monitoring Department [CrMD] at Mangaluru.
On promotion as deputy general manager, she will be head of Centralised Loan Sanctioning Centre [CLSC] at Mangaluru.
Vijayakumar P H, is a graduate in Commerce, a chartered accountant and also a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
He started his career in the bank in 2000 and has over two decades of banking service. He was promoted to assistant general manager cadre during March 2017 and presently serves at HO – Treasury & Accounts Department, Head Office.
On promotion as deputy general manager, he will be the head of Treasury & Accounts department at Head Office.
Jagadessha K R, is a graduate in Civil Engineering.
He started his career in the bank in 1999 and has over two decades of banking service. He was promoted to assistant general manager cadre during March 2013 and presently serves at HO – Treasury & Accounts Department.
On promotion as deputy general manager, he will be the head of Fixed Assets, Physical Security & Financial Planning at Treasury & Accounts Department, Head Office.
