Puttur: Two-wheeler rider falls into drain, loses life

Puttur, Apr 9: In an accident which happened at Gokul Nagar on Uppinangady - Subrahmanya highway on Thursday April 8, a two-wheeler rider lost control over his vehicle and fell into the drain. He instantly lost his life. The deceased was Khaleel Rahman (35), a resident of Kodimbala village.

Rahman used to work as a mason. He had worked at a construction site the whole night of Wednesday till Thursday morning. He then returned home, and was going to Sajipa to participate in the marriage ceremony of a relative when the accident happened.

After the accident happened, local auto rickshaw drivers took the injured to the hospital but the youth had died by then. He is survived by wife and two sons.
