Kundapur, Apr 8: The inauguration of the renovated first floor of Gulvady Mehraj Masjid and the 15th annual Swalath Majlis, Duwa and Souharda Samavesha was held on Thursday, April 8.
The renovated building was inaugurated and blessed by Udupi district Quazi Bahu Shaikhuna Zainul Ulaima Abdul Hameed Musliyar Mani (Mani Ustad).
Speaking on the occasion, former president of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh, Elroy Kiran Crasto said, "We have to implement the harmony between religions in our life. Let us demolish the walls between us and live harmoniously and uphold humanity and humane response."
Dinakar Shetty, teacher of Basrur Nivedita High School said, "We should consider everyone as human beings. When a child falls down in school, another child lifts it up. It never asks the caste of that fallen child. Similarly, let us follow our religion and love our neighbours. When we see schools and prayer centers in one village, we are able to understand the feeling of people living there. We all have to live in brotherhood and harmony."
