Mangaluru: Applications invited for 20th Florence Nightingale Nurses Award 2021

Mangaluru, Apr 8: The Anglo Indian Unity Centre in 2000 constituted an award, The Florence Nightingale Nurses Award, for deserving nurses. In the last 20 years, hundreds of nurses have been awarded for their dedicated services, many of who have gone on to serve in other nations too. For the last six years now, this award is being given away jointly along with the Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Department.

This year too, The Florence Nightingale Nurses Award will be presented on May 12. Applications are invited from nurses serving in Karnataka and registered with the Indian Nursing Council or the Karnataka Nursing Council. Applicants can choose from various categories for different awards. The applications can be downloaded from https://www.nightingaleawards.in, and must be submitted along with all documents as mentioned in the application form. The last date for submission of forms is April 30. Duly filled forms may be sent along with all the relevant documents to 113, 2nd E Cross, OMBR Layout, Banaswadi, Bangalore – 560043.
