Udupi: Mangaluru level quiz competition held by SDM Ayurveda College and hospital

Udupi, Apr 8: Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences as part of its silver jubilee, on April 5 held a Mangaluru level quiz competition in association with SDM Ayurveda Institute Udupi and Sharada Ayurveda College Mangaluru at SDM Institute auditorium, here, on April 5.

Dr Ravi Ganesh Mogra, principal of Sharada Ayurveda College, Mangaluru, the chief guest said that quiz competitions such as these increase the enthusiasm to study Ayurveda among students. “Those are also useful for the growth of Ayurveda.”

Dr Mamatha K V, principal of SDM Ayurveda Institute, Udupi, who presided over the inauguration programme said that quiz competitions increase the knowledge of students and help in exchange as students of various colleges participate. Nagaraja S, vice-president of the post-graduate division conveyed his wishes. Dr Ajanta, head of the department of diagnosis of Sharada Ayurveda College and Hospital and Dr Srikanth P H, were on the dais. Dr Ravi K V, lecturer compered the programme. Dr Yogish Acharya, assistant lecturer welcomed the gathering. Dr Arhanth Kumar, the assistant lecturer, rendered the vote of thanks. Dr Pareekshit, assistant lecturer of Sharada Ayurveda College and Hospital was present. Dr Sandesh Kumar Shetty, assistant lecturer, Dr Srinidhi Dhanya, assistant lecturer and Dr Arun Kumar, lecturer conducted the quiz.

Sharada Ayurveda College Mangaluru students were selected for the next round in the degree and junior doctors' division. SDM Hassan students were selected for the next round in the post-graduate section. Students from nine colleges took part in the degree section and students from five colleges participated in the post-graduate division.
