Madikeri: Bus-jeep collision - Woman dies, two serious

Madikeri, Apr 8: In an accident which happened at M Wadaga village near Murnad in Kodagu district on Wednesday April 7, a woman was killed and two suffered grievous injuries, after a jeep and a bus were involved in a collision.

Mukkati Laxmi (70) from Biligeri was killed in the accident. Jeep driver, M P Mohan Kumar (49), who is an ex-serviceman, and his wife, Dharani (42), sustained serious injuries. They were admitted into a hospital at Mangaluru in critical condition.

Mohan along with mother, Laxmi, and wife, was going towards Betri via Murnad road when the accident happened.

A case was registered at Madikeri rural police station.
