Udupi: Former MLA Pramod Madhwaraj approached by site owners over govt land issue

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (HB/EP)

Udupi, Apr 6: “The sites formed two decades ago without government approval by private parties have remained idle due to insufficient documents. The government tried to regularise them in 2010-13. But some people by means of the PIL questioned the move in the state and the Supreme Court. We are waiting for justice for the last four decades,” stated the beneficiaries of the sites with former MLA Pramod Madhwaraj.

"The case is pending the Supreme Court since 2017. You should take action on SLP by Karnataka Town & Country Planning (Regularization of unauthorised developments) Rules 2013' that is pending for the last four years. People as old as 60-70 years will not be able to get justice during their life span otherwise," the concerned argued.
