Bantwal, Apr 4: A bike rider suffered injuries in the accident involving a tipper, car and his bike between Ukkuda– Apperipade on Kalladka–Kanhangad highway.
The injured was identified as Talipadpu, Muli resident 43-year-old Rathnakar Shetty.
A Baleno car that was coming from Perla towards Vittal tried to overtake a tipper when Rathnakar Shetty who was riding the bike was coming from the opposite direction.
The car tried to prevent collision with the two-wheeler and ended up ramming the tipper and the two-wheeler before veering to the right side of the road and toppling on a mound of mud.
