Udupi, Apr 1: “We experience joy when we like our achievement. But the achievement looks satisfying when others appreciate it,” opined Poornima Janardhan.

She spoke after reciprocating to the compliments received by her in the programme ‘Sadhakarede Namma Nade’, (our walk towards achievers) held by Shantimathi Prathistana Handadi, Brahmavar. “Everybody has one or the other talent which shine when we obtain a suitable platform for it,” she said.

Shantimathi Prathistan’s Vidwan Vijaya Manja said that the capacity of a woman who adjusts to the people in the house, people surrounding it, the community and the society is amazing. “We should honour such a woman's strength,” she said.

Udupa Rathna Prathistana convener Janardhan Kodavoor welcomed the gathering. Shanti Mati Prathistana president Dayananda Varamballi gave an introduction. Nalini Pradeep and Yashoda Holla commended the programme. Umesh Bayari rendered a vote of thanks.
