Udupi: MTL develops platform to help students prepare for competitive exams

Udupi, Apr 2: Manipal Technology Ltd (MTL) has created an online platform, 'GetMyClass', to help students prepare for competitive professional examinations like common entrance test (CET), joint entrance examination (JEE) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). This was stated by Guruprasad Kamath, vice president of MTL's digital solution department.

Providing details at a recently convened press conference, here, Kamath said that the platform contains not only examination papers of this year but also answers provided by experts to over 2,000 questions selected from CET, JEET and NEET examinations held in the previous years in the form of videos. He also said that the platform also contains suggestions and instructions from professors specialized in the subjects. "It contains information from experts on how to tackle the questions speedily. Students can enroll themselves on this platform free of cost," he explained.

'At present, over 2,00 hours of subjects of learning have been included in 'GetMyClass'. All information is available here for the students to face competitive entrance examinations. For CET coaching, Rs 399 has been fixed as a subscription for three months while for JEE and NEET the subscription amount is Rs 799 for three months. However, those who register before April 4 get an opportunity for free CET coaching," he said.

The commercial manager of the company, Abhijit Swar, was present at the press conference.
