Mangaluru: Team Jai Hind Swimming Club bags medals at state-level swimming championship

Mangaluru, Apr 1: Karnataka Swimming Association under the aegis of Swimming Federation of India from March 29 to 31 organised a state-level swimming championship - 2021 at Padukone Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence in Bengaluru on 29th to 31st March 2021.

Abdul Wafi Hakeem bagged gold medal in 50 meter backstroke and 100 meter backstroke and bronze medal in 50 meter freestyle and 100 meter freestyle under Group 3 category in the state meet.

K Janani bagged the bronze medal in 200 meter freestyle event under Group 3 category in the state meet.

Aurelia Dias bagged silver medal in 50 meter breaststroke event under Group IV A category in the state meet.

All of them are being trained under the watchful eyes of V Ramakrishna Rao and Rajesh Antony Bengre.
