Mangaluru, Apr 1: Professor Dr Mithra N Hegde, vice-principal, head of the department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences was bestowed the 'Best Researcher Award 2019' of ABSMIDS by Nitte (Deemed to be University) on March 31 at the seminar hall ‘Chinthana’, IInd Floor, JKSH Charitable Hospital.
N Vinaya Hegde, chancellor of Nitte (Deemed to be University) presided over the function, Professor Dr Vishwa Mohan Katoch, former secretary of the department of Health Research, GOI and director-general of ICMR was the chief guest, Professor Dr Shantharam Shetty, pro-chancellor, Professor Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary vice-chancellor, Professor Dr M S Moodithaya pro-vice-chancellor were the guests of honour.
