Udupi MLA hands over cheques worth Rs 1,90,200 under natural calamities fund

Udupi, Mar 30: An amount of Rs 95,100 each is approved as compensation on the recommendation of MLA K Raghupathi Bhat for two beneficiaries who suffered loss due to natural calamities.

The cheques were handed over by the MLA at his office to Moodanidambur resident Ishwaraj and Moodabettu resident Chandrayya Acharya on March 29.

Municipal councillor Srisha Kodavoor, Udupi tahsildar Pradeep Kurdekar and village accountant Karthikeya were present.
