Udupi, Mar 29: Udupi District Cooperative Union president, B Jayakar Shetty Indrali, has been elected as the director of Karnataka State Cooperative Federation, Bengaluru.
His term as director will be of five years duration. He represents Mysuru zone.
The election was held on Sunday.
Jayakar Shetty registered his election emphatically with a margin of a large number of votes. His victory has emphasised the upper hand of the faction led by Dr Rajendra Kumar and G T Devegowda.
