Udupi, Mar 27: Major donors, Rotarians Mohan Shenoy Yermal and Aruna M Shenoy donated Rs 20 lac to MAHE Trust, Manipal. This amount will be utilised for developing trauma and operation theatre facilities at Dr TMA Pai Rotary Hospital, Karkala.
The donation cheque was handed over to Dr H S Ballal, pro-chancellor, MAHE, Manipal. In the presence of major donors, Rotarians Tukaram Nayak and Survana Nayak, Dr H Vinod Bhat, executive vice-president, MAHE Manipal and Dr Kirtinath Ballal, CMO, Dr TMA Pai Rotary Hospital, Karkala.
On this occasion, Dr HS Ballal applauded the noble cause and said, “The donation will be definitely helpful to provide additional facilities at Dr TMA Pai Rotary Hospital, Karkala and help underprivileged patients and urged others to come forward to donate towards the good cause."
