Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha holds stir at BC Road

Bantwal, Mar 26: Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha on Friday, March 26 symbolically staged a stir following the call given by Bharat Bandh by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha in BC Road.

The protestors who protested by stopping a vehicle on National Highway for few minutes expressed their anguish against the BJP-led union government's policies and criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Speaking during the occasion secretary of Karanataka Rajya Raitha Sangha Ravikiran Punacha said, "The political parties which run the government with the sweat of farmers are heartless when it comes to issues of farmers."

District president of the organisation, Oswald Fernandes, general secretary, Premanatha Shetty Balthila, state vice-president Yadava Shetty, CITU district secretary, Ramanna Vittal, leader Krishnappa Salian, Vasantha Acharya, Tulasidas, Padmavathi Shetty, Sunny D'Souza, Vasudeva Ucchila, Lokayya, Sadhashiva Das, Althaf Tumbe, Jayanth Naik, Shahul Hamid, Haroon Rashid, Alwyn Lobo, Prabhakar Daivagudde, Concepta D'Sa, Venkappa Poojary, and others were present.
