Bantwal, Mar 25: In an incident reported from Nadumogaru in Maninalkur village in the taluk, the Mescom staff left a consumer worried by issuing a bill running into thousands of rupees.
Adam Kunhi, a Mescom consumer and former president of Maninalkur gram panchayat, got a shock of his life after finding that he was billed Rs 82,175 for the month of March this year. Adam, who became anxious about this bill, visited Mescom office at Uli and filed a complaint. During verification, the Mescom staff realised about the faux pas and issued him a revised bill for Rs 400.
