Udupi: Request put forward to recognise Bappanadu temple as tourist spot

Udupi, Mar 23: Karnataka minister of tourism C P Yogeshwar was handed over a request at Sasihithlu here on March 21 to recognise Bappanadu temple as a tourist destination.

If Sasihithlu beach, Bhagavati temple, Umamaheshwari temple (Hoigegudde), Chitrapu, Kalsanka, Padubail Kordattu temple, Kolachikambla Mantra surfing and Bappanadu temple are converted as tourist destinations. They will be developed and further promote environment-friendly tourism to a large extent.

The minister has responded positively to it and assured me that he will take quick action in this regard. Yathish Baikampady and Gaurav Hegde were present.
