Udupi: Two Ganja peddlers arrested, Ganja worth Rs 4,500, two mobile phones, cash confiscated

Udupi, Mar 23: Saktivelu, police sub-inspector of Udupi city police station on March 22 arrested two Ganja peddlers who waited to sell the drug at a public place in front of Mookambika Polly Products behind Abharan Showroom, Nittur, Puttur village.

The arrested were Gautham and Vijith. 150 gram ganja worth Rs 4,500, two mobile phones and Rs 720 in cash were confiscated by the police from them.

It is said that the suspects had brought the ganja from Navin, a resident of Mangaluru for sale. A case under registration no 49/2021 under section 8 (c ), 20(b)(ii) (A) NDPS Act is registered in this connection against the suspects in the Udupi city police station.
