Udupi: Mahesh Poojary wins held national talent championship 'Talent Unlocked' contest

Udupi, Mar 23: Mahesh Poojary Malpe added another crown to his credit. Mahesh, a professional Rubik’s cube artiste won the HDFC Bank and Red FM organized the national talent championship 'Talent Unlocked' contest.

He is awarded Rs 1 lac cash prize and a two-wheeler as a prize. More than 56,000 participants from all over India participated in the event.

Mahesh successfully won the Mangaluru city round and then represented South India, finally making it to the finals along with eight other contestants.

He created a beautiful portrait of filmstar Irfan Khan on the Rubik's cube using 1450 cubes.

Previously, Mahesh had won the 'Munch Superstar' contest organized by Nestle Munch chocolates. In the past, he has been credited with creating many such artworks with the use of the Rubik's Cube. He has performed at more than 25 stage shows, one of which involved him making a live art of Saalumarada Thimmakka at a programme in Udupi.
