Bantwal: MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipady gets vaccinated

Bantwal, Mar 23: Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipady, got himself vaccinated for COVID 19 at the government hospital here on Monday March 22.

After getting the vaccine, the MLA said that he got himself vaccinated at the government hospital here. He requested people aged over 60 and those above 45 but suffering from comorbidities, to get the vaccine.

"Getting vaccinated is in the interests of ourselves and also that of the society. People are apprehensive about the COVID second wave now. Therefore, to protect oneself and others from the pandemic, it is necessary to go for the vaccine. We can get vaccinated without spending anything in government hospitals, and I urge the people to make the best use of the facility," he said.

The MLA was accompanied by Bantwal Urban Development Authority chairman, B Devadas Shetty on this occasion. Devadas Shetty too got himself vaccinated. Medical officers of the hospital accompanied the distinguished visitors.
