38 candidates in fray for Kerala Vidhan Sabha elections

Kasargod, Mar 22: Over 38 candidates will contest in the Kerala Vidhan Sabha elections that will be held on April 6. However, three candidates withdrew their nominations on Monday, March 22.

BSP candidate from Manjeshwar constituency, K Sundara, an independent candidate from Kasargod Abdul Azeez and Thrikaripur independent candidate Chandran K withdrew nominations.

There are six candidates in Manjeshwar, seven in Kasargod, six in Uduma, 11 in Kanhangad and eight candidates in Thrikaripur constituencies.

Manjeshwar

A K M Ashraf (Muslim League), V V Rameshan (CPIM), K Surendran (BJP), Pravin Kumar (Anna Democratic Human Rights of India), John D’Souza (independent), Surendran M (independent).

Kasargod

N A Nellikunnu (Muslim League), Vijayakumar K P (BSP), K Srikanth (BJP), Ranjith Raj (Anna Democratic Human Rights of India), M A Lathif (I N L), Nishanth Kumar M B (independent), Sudhakaran (independent).

Uduma

C H Kunhambu (CPIM), Balakrishna Periya (Congress), A Velayudhan (BJP), Govindan B (Anna Democratic Human Rights of India), Kunhambu K (independent), Rameshan K (independent).

Kanhangad:

E Chandrashekaran (CPI), P V Suresh (Congress), Balaraj (BJP), Abdul Samad (SDPI), T Abdul Samad T T (Janata Dal-United), Abdul Samad T (SDPI), Reshma Karivedaga (Anna Democratic Human Rights of India), Augustine (independent), Krishnan Parappachal (independent), Manoj Thomas (independent), Srinath Shashi (independent), Suresh BC (independent).

Thrikaripur
