Mangaluru: Junk shop at Kallapu catches fire, items gutted

Mangaluru, Mar 20: A scrap dealing shop near Kallapu, Thokkottu caught fire on Saturday March 20.

The shop belongs to Arafat Abdul Rahiman. The mishap occurred due to electrical short circuit. The pile of thermocole that is used inside fridges is gutted in the fire.

Pandeshwar fire service personnel who arrived at the spot after being alerted began dousing the fire.
