Moodbidri: Labourer falls into water, drowns

Moodbidri, Mar 20: A labourer fell into water and met a watery grave. This incident happened at Kachibail, Puthige village near here on Thursday March 18.

The victim of this incident was Prakash Gowda (31), son of Sesu Gowda from Karumugeru, Puthabail here. He had been visiting the house of Dr Padmanabha Udupa at Kanchibail on a daily basis as he worked for the doctor since long. On Thursday afternoon, he had left for work after lunch but did not return thereafter. He also did not return to the house of the doctor for whom he worked.

The people of the family started to search for him and also filed missing complaint in the police station. His body was found in the Madmal Gundi waterhole at Kanchibail. Moodbidri police, who have registered the case, are investigating.
