Bengaluru: 'No need to assign importance to Yatnal's utterances' - Arun Singh

Bengaluru, Mar 19: State BJP in-charge, Arun Singh, said that there is no need to assign significance to the statements and utterances of MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal.

He arrived in the city on Friday evening, for the purpose to participating in the core committee meeting of the BJP. He was replying to questions raised by the media persons. Even in the past, Arun had said that there is no need to give too much importance to Yatnal's statements.

On the issue of sleaze CD, he said that the Congress is kicking up these things as it is on the back foot. He accused the Congress of levelling false allegations. He explained that Jarkiholi's resignation was obtained immediately after his name was linked to the case. "This happens only in the BJP," he said.

Mallikarjun Khooba, who wants to fight the bypoll from Basavakaliyan constituency on a BJP ticket, met Arun Singh. Hemet Singh at Kumara Kripa guest house and said in clear times that he was an aspirant for the BJP ticket there.
