Mangaluru, Mar 19: A police complaint has been registered at Konaje police station for the illegal use of explosives to burst stones at the Balepuni stone quarry.

Konaje police personnel on rounds had raided the quarry after hearing blast sounds. Stones were being burst without obtaining a no-objection letter from the police or the authority in a way that was risky to human lives.

A case in this connection is registered at Konaje police station.
