NABARD team to visit Dakshina Kannada for two-days to study cooperative sector

Mangaluru Mar 19: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) team will be visiting Dakshina Kannada district from March 19 for two days to study the cooperative sector, said the president of SCDCC bank Rajendra Kumar.

Addressing media here on Friday, March 19, Rajendra Kumar said, "Cooperative sector in the district have created several milestones and has become model in the state and country. NABARD team will come for a two-day visit to the district to study about cooperative sector about its development, growth, economic status and many more."

The NABARD team will be led by state cooperative apex bank president, Belliprakash. Apex Bank vice president, J D Harish, Bagalkot DCC president, Jaya Kumar, Kalaburagi DCC bank president, Rajkumar Patil, Mandya DCC bank president, C Ashwath, Bengaluru DCC bank president, D Hanumanthaya, Davangere DCC bank president, Jagadishappa Banakar, Dharwad DCC bank president, Lingaraj S and other district DCC bank presidents are part of this study team, said Rajendra Kumar.

SCDCC bank vice president, Vinay Kumar Soorinje, director, Shashikumar Rai, Deviprasad Shetty, Sadashiv Ullal and others were present.
