Mangaluru: Covid test - Ullal CMC president tests positive in govt hospital, negative at KMC

Mangaluru, Mar 19: Chithrakala Chandrakanth, president of Ullal city municipality council (CMC), has taken to social media to share the chaos over her coronavirus test report.

Last week, Chithrakala suffered from fever. She got a health check-up done at Ullal government hospital. In the test that was done to verify Covid infection, the report turned out to be positive. Not satisfied by the report of the government hospital, Chithrakala went to KMC and got herself tested for Covid. Surprisingly the report of KMC turned out to be negative.

Chithrakala shared her agony of being pronounced as positive in a government hospital and relief of getting a negative report at KMC. She was under home quarantine for a week as per the initial positive report of Ullal government hospital.
