Kundapur: Cattle theft surfaces again - Cow stolen from shed

Kundapur, Mar 19: Thieves who entered the cattle shed belonging to a poor family from Gullady village near Giliyar in Brahmavar taluk stole a cow by cutting off the rope with which it had been tethered to hooks. The theft happened at the house of Manji and the thieves executed their theft plan at night on Thursday March 18.

Manji's family is very poor. She was living with her daughter-in-law and granddaughter. She totally relied on dairying for a living. She has lost the only cow she possessed and as a result, is distressed and clueless about the future of the family.

A complaint about the theft stands registered at Kota police station.
