Renovated police quarters inaugurated in Bantwal

Bantwal, Mar 18: The old building of the department of horticulture is handed over to the police department for the construction of police quarters here. The renovated building was inaugurated on Wednesday, March 17.

Bantwal police circle inspector T D Nagaraj inaugurated the building. PSI Avinash, rural PSI Prasanna M S, traffic police station PSI Rajesh K V, town crime division PSI Kalaimar and staff were present.

Two squads of KSRP are functioning at Bantwal with 50 staff members who did not have a place to stay. The ceiling has been repaired and tiles are laid on the floor. Facilities such as electricity and a water connection have also been provided.
