Mangaluru: Scooter rider dies in hit-and-run accident

Mangaluru, Mar 18: A scooter rider died in a hit-and-run accident that occurred at midnight of Wednesday, March 17 at Kallapu near Thokkottu.

Prashanth (32), a resident of Jalligudde is the deceased. He was returning home after partaking in the annual temple festivities of Talapady Devipura Sri Durgaparameshwari temple.

South traffic police have registered a case. Prashanth is survived by his wife and seven-year-old son.
