Udupi: Asare Charitable Trust provides free electricity to 73rd house

Udupi, Mar 17: Asare Charitable Trust, a project of Ganeshotsav Samiti Kadiyali provided free electricity to the house of Kasturi and Sanjeev couple belonging to Dalit community of Moodabettu ward, Udupi. It was the 73rd house for which Trust have provided electricity. The entire cost of the electricity connection was borne by Jyothi S Tantri.

Moodabettu ward municipal council member Shreesha Kodavoor, Shankar Poojary Madhwanagar, Nithyananda Shetty Kanganabettu, Shekhar Ameen Chinnadangadi and Jagadeesh Ameen were present.

Udupi Urban Development Authority president and chief secretary of Asare Charitable Trust K Raghavendra Kini conducted the programme. Former municipal council member Suresh Shetty welcomed and Ganeshotsav Samiti Kadiyali committee's Rakesh Jogi rendered the vote of thanks.

The electricity work was performed by Janardhan of Sony Electricals.
