TCS, Infosys, Wipro Shortlisted by Insurance Authority

Chennai, Jul 15 (IANS): The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) has short listed six firms, including TCS, Wipro and Infosys, and called them for a pre-bid meeting Thursday for supply of Enterprise Resource Planning software.

Based on detailed scrutiny of the bids submitted by different software companies, the IRDA has short listed six companies including Intelligroup, Mahindra Satyam and Deloittee, for Technical Bidding (phase 2).

The IRDA officials told IANS that the regulatory authority's website is also being revamped and a new site will be up and running soon.

The IRDA has invited proposals for redesigning its website several years back but subsequently decided to put that in the backburner. The redesigning of the website is being done in-house this time.
