Byndoor, Mar 6: Shivamogga MP B Y Raghavendra has responded to the complaints and ensured that the residents in Byndoor town panchayat limits will be receiving the centre’s package of Rs 2.67 crore under Prime Minister’s Awas Yojana (PMAY) to construct residences.

It was necessary to have the name of the town panchayat in the bank’s portal. However, the name of the Byndoor town panchayat was not found in the portal as it was newly formed.

The MP had then contacted the concerned officials in the central government. "The State Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation will include the name of the Byndoor town panchayat on the website. The user ID and password are being generated. Wards will be segregated soon," sources in the office of MP Raghavendra said.

Besides Byndoor town panchayat, residents of Kudremukh, Bhimarayanagudi, Someshwar and Kalagi town will also be able to avail the facilities.
