Tata to Commission 3 MW Solar Plant by 2010 End


New Delhi, Jul 8 (IANS): Tata Power will commission a 3 MW solar photovoltaic power plant in Mahrashtra by end of this year that will become the largest grid connected solar plant in the state.

"Tata Power aims to commission this first and largest solar photovoltaic power plant in Maharashtra located at Mulshi," said a company press release Wednesday.

The company's executive director Banmali Agrawala said that the "solar power is progressing well and will be commissioned later this year".
