Bantwal, Mar 5: Maha Chandika Yaga was held at Durgaparameshwari temple, Ajiibettu village, Padav on Thursday, March 4.

Devara Bali festival was celebrated in the temple on Thursday afternoon as part of the annual fair. 

Nadvantadi Shripada Pangannaya Tantri, chief priest Ananta Mahima Muchintaya, committee president, Vasanth Shetty Kedage, Jayaprakash Shetty Buleri, Ashok A Pakkala, Udaya Kumar Shetty, Yogish Kalasadka, Gopala Anchan and others were present.

The Yakshagana play by Kateel mela at Siddakatte on Wednesday night garnered applause.
