Hunt on For Mastermind of Fake Visa Racket

New Delhi, July 7 (IANS) Security agencies are looking for the man who arranged fake visas for 27 people who were arrested at the airport here Tuesday, officials said Wednesday.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) arrested the 27 men from the Indira Gandhi International Airport for trying to leave for Dubai.

The call centres of two domestic airlines received a phone call saying that 27 men were travelling on fake visas and they would attempt to hijack the plane.

"We are looking for the anonymous caller as he could be an important link to reach the mastermind of the racket," an official said.

The security agencies have denied the men had planned to hijack the plane.

A majority of them hail from Bangladesh.
