Bengaluru: Hoteliers unhappy with new guidelines by Karnataka state pollution control board

Bengaluru, Feb 28: Hoteliers of the state have expressed disappointment over the new guidelines issued by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board on the order of the National Green Tribunal to be followed by hotels and restaurants in the state.

In a statement, Chandrashekhar Hebbar, president of Karnataka Pradesh Hotel and Restaurant association said, "Hotel industry is slowly gearing up after the coronavirus pandemic. It is not right to have implemented the new guidelines now."

Hebbar also said that he will meet CM Yediyurappa soon in this regard and submit an appeal.
