Pakistan Fires at Indian Positions on Kashmir Border

Srinagar, Jun 21 (IANS): Pakistani troops resorted to firing at an Indian border outpost in Jammu region's Ranbir Singh Pura sector along the international border early Monday, police said.

"Pakistani troops fired at Abdullah border outpost this morning. The fire was returned by the BSF (Border Security Force) troops," a police officer told IANS.

"No casualty has been reported in the incident," the officer said.

A BSF trooper told IANS that the exchange of fire lasted for about an hour.

The fire from across the border started around 4 a.m. and was directed at Abdullah post in Ranbir Singh Pura, about 30 km west of Jammu.

This is the second ceasefire violation in Jammu and Kashmir in two days.

On Sunday, two civilian porters working for the army were killed and two troopers injured when Pakistan violated the bilateral ceasefire in Machil sector of the Line of Control (LoC).

The violation comes ahead of Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao's visit to Pakistan Thursday when she meets her counterpart Basit Bashir.

I should call somebody childish here, in medical terms surgery is a last option, sameway war is not the solution because both the countries have Nuclear power. Pakistan has nothing to loose because it is already a dead country where even the stock exchange has been closed, But India is already one of the major economies in the world and we Indians now how we have built our economy, one nuclear attack is enough to destroy everything. If there is a war between two countries it is for sure that India will not use nuclear and at the loosing stage if Pakistan uses nuclear then what?. Thats the difference between how Congress take descion and BJP takes descion.

Its about taking rational steps against Kashmir issue.War is not a solution,or fighting against each other is not a solution, fighting in the name of religion is not a solution, this are all politically driven methods.
Today it is about the future of India and its citizens. We need a rational step to be taken by the government, which is logical,it creates a win win suituation for both the countries, its about solving the differences, once for all, through a dailogue which comprises of trust, honesty & respect. Its about the generations to come, who can live in peace.
Remember India is the fastest growing economy in the world. And what tears down the economy of a country is war.So lets look forward to a economically strong India, lets work towards solutions to every threat that could probably bring down Indian economy.
India is a great country.Lets not blame the politicians, lets remind them of the fact that,if they dont play thier part well, that God has kept them for, then the consequences are going to befall on thier families and thier beloved ones too.

    Bharat mata ki Jai ho.

HI , GURU, MANGALORE, our defence force is strong enough to smash pakistan within 15 minutes.

but at present our leaders are weak at the centre to take necessary decisions.

they are afraid of loosing votes if we attack pakistan .
