Mangaluru: Kanasu Maratakkide film to be released in OTT ‘Talkies’ on Jan 15

Mangaluru, Jan 6: “Kanasu Maratakkide Kannada film presented by Pashanamurthi creations and directed by Smithesh S Barya will be released on Talkies OTT app on January 15,” said Anish Poojary, who addressed a gathering at the press conference held at press club, here, on Wednesday.

“The film is produced by Shivakumar. Sharath Kumar, Prashanth Kotian and Selvaraj are the co-producers. Comedy Kilady fame, Anish Poojary has written the script and dialogues for the story written by Navin Poojary,” he said.

“Prajnesh Shetty and Swastika Poojary are the main artistes. Comedy Kilady’s Govinde Gowda, Dheeraj Neermarga and others, Sidlingu Sridhar, Chetar Rai Mani, Mohan Sheni, Dikshit Andinje and others will share the screen.

“Kaviraj, Bharate Chetan, Dr Nagendra Prasad, Sukesh and Remo have written lyrics. Manasa Holla has directed the music. Vijay Prakash, Vani Harikrishna, Rajesh Krishnan, Shashank, Sheshagiri and Sriharsha have sung the songs.

“The film was shot in Dakshina Kannada, Hassan and coastal region. A portion of the ticket price will be donated to Janasnehi Charitable Trust. The film troupe is working in accordance to the title of the film,” Poojary said.

Prajnesh Shetty, Swastika Poojary, photographer Santhosh Acharya Gumpalaje and Dikshit Poojary were present.
