Robert Pattinson Wanted to be a Rapper


Los Angeles, May 13 (IANS) British actor Robert Pattinson has revealed that he once aspired to become a rapper.

"I used to want to be a rapper when I was, like, 14," Pattinson said during an appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show".

When asked about how he learned to speak with an American accent, the 23-year-old "Twilight" star said his love of cinema helped him master it, reports accesshollywood.com.

"I grew up watching American movies and stuff," he said.

Pattinson appeared on the show with his "Twilight" co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

The next instalment of the vampire series, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," hits theatres June 30.
