Bangalore, May 12 (IANS): Bollywood veteran Naseeruddin Shah, who was admitted to Manipal Hospital Tuesday evening after he complained of giddiness, left without informing the doctors treating him.

Naseer was here to shoot "Saat Khoon Maaf" at Madikeri, about 240 km from Bangalore. When the actor complained of giddiness, producer-director Vishal Bharadwaj immediately arranged for a helicopter to take him to Bangalore for treatment.

"The actor was admitted to the hospital at around 8.00 p.m. on Tuesday and was treated for giddiness. He had specifically made a request that he was not to be disturbed and visitors should not be allowed into his room. We had acted accordingly," said H. Sudarshan Ballal, director and chairman of Medical Advisory Board.

"But today we have found that he has left the Hospital. One thing is that he had shown tremendous improvement in his health condition after the treatment," said Ballal.

Naseer's sudden disappearance has surprised the hospital staff. Sources said that the doctors attending upon Naseer were in a meeting when he walked out of the hospital.
