Mangaluru, Sep 8: Nativity of Mother Mary very popularly known as Monthi Fest was celebrated at Holy Cross Church, Hosabettu on September 8.

Fr Rohan Dias, Redemptorist and parish priest Fr Santhosh Rodrigues were the celebrants of the mass.

Fr Rohan Dias delivered a powerful homily, highlighting the importance of worshiping mother Mary and about the importance of the day and family bonding.



Parish priest, Fr Santhosh Rodrigues blessed the new crop. The parish committee members distributed the new rice corn to all those gathered at the church.

After the mass refreshments were served.
